Signs (in Spanish) warn border crossers of poisonous varmints in the desert. These photos were taken in a 28-mile segment along the border in Arizona where there the only protection is a very old barbed wire fence with many breaks. Two Border Patrol vehicles were seen along this 28-mile-long part of the border. |
